Manguard pants?

Manguard pants. Stretchy, clings to the body like yoga pants, I assume, but of a different material and the pant legs don't cling at the bottoms. The pants don't get any wider past the legs, really, which is why it hugs like so. Wearing a pair of shorts underneath helped only a little.

It's... Not ideal to the maintenance of one's modesty. Thankfully, I only have to wear them for about twenty minutes prior to a performance, but that may change as the weather goes cold. Who knows.
I'm guessing it's so you can show off both your rife and your gun.

The color guard that I'm sort of in (Only been to one practice) is a JROTC one so we just have to wear our uniforms.  And exercises are limited to standing at right shoulder arms for thirty minutes.
Unfortunatly I have plenty of experience with smacking myself in the head with a rifle.  EVERYONE on drill team has many, many bruises, scrapes, and a few scars to show for our time.   When I hit myself in the head doing a statue of liberty a good bit of blood covered my face.  No idea exactly where it came from seeing as how it was the rounded ball at the end of the bolt that hit me.  That part very much goes into the terrified thread because I still have a fear of that specific move.  I can do it if needed, but there is now an inherent hesitation to it.

Head wounds always bleed excessively. The skin on your skull is so thin and has so many blood vessels that even the slightest cut bleeds like crazy.

I hear stuff like that all the time, and just about every head wound I receive (A lot of them) hardly bleed at all and just stop after a few minutes saying "Meh, we haven't made him bleed to death before, may as well give up."

The implication that your own cells are conspiring to make you bleed to death SOUNDS bogus at first glance, but then I remember my own history of asthma and know for a fact that some parts of your body are simply wired to kill you for no reason.

It's evolution at work. This way, if things go wrong, you won't be captured alive, and so the predators won't be able to steal your secrets.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

The US government has now entered a shutdown.

I can't really think of any snappy retort to this.

Hopefully this this is one of the more pleasant apocalypses and I can set myself up as god emperor of the panhandle, gather up a few minions, a bad-ass lieutenant who won't stab me in the back and a handful of harem girls.
