Nah, your subconscious just realized that your life wasn't boaring enough.

That was one of the worst puns I've ever read...

But yes, climbing a tree is definitely going to be your best bet to avoid being gored in the nuts by a wild boar. Unless there isn't a tree around, then you might have to fight for it. Poor bastards have hooves, so they can't climb up after you. Maybe that's why they're always so pissy?

i'll go out on a limb or two and claim that max has no non-bipeds in the maxhouse due to liberal application of industrial-grade fist.
There, all fixed.

According to ye youtube comments it's basically a public safety commercial about alcoholic parents and their impact on their children. All the monsters are alcoholic parents who scare their kids. Pretty awesome commercial. Wish USA had more commercials like that.

I don't think I've ever seen a public safety commercial over here. I mean I know they exist and all, but I haven't really seen any.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I got a letter in the mail today stating that starting in October my monthly income is going down to $629.74 USD a month, all because I've got additional support now that lets me have a roof over my head. It's not too scary but I will admit when I saw that letter I was panicking and frightened because of this.

I just hope everything is going to be alright. I mean it likely is going to be alright but if it isn't I might be homeless by October or November. At least that's what the paranoia is telling me. Oh well, there isn't anything I can do about it until Monday or Tuesday so I might as well just stop panicking and try to calm down.

I've discovered that pulling old files one-by-one off a computer that was sat dead and inert for the better part of twelve years (three since its most recent use) is an oddly unnerving experience. Being forced to rescue old emulator ROMs one at a time through a 32MB flash drive while the mouse craps out on you and the computer insists that there's no operating system the first time it turns on, being greeted by a blue and black checkerboard background denoting something's missing, and having to pore through files that have not been touched in a decade... It's eerie. Absolutely, strangely eerie in a way that logic defies, y'know, in that Lovecraftian sense where something just is eerie without trying to be.

Bit scary also to think of all the data (or what little data, relative to storage space these days. Seriously, that desktop has something like 16GB of hard drive space TOTAL. We have terabytes today) that might be lost to the ages in ancient, decaying CDs hard drives, and floppies... The hard work of one brave soul, lost in the torrents of time, some song, some hack, that mightn't ever again see the light of day... It's a scary thought.
I've been there. Hell, I've done it with someone else's hard drive, from a computer formerly owned by the lesbian couple that lived many years ago in the house I am living in. While nothing of... that sort of thing was found, there was some interesting stuff on it. Might have even found some credit card information at one point. And the hard drive on the computer I had before the one I've got now had a 6GB drive, that's all.

I'm terrified that they managed to put so many subtle tones in there.

Edit: I'm also terrified that no one realizes that green not being a creative color is mentioning the picture of the brain later. The green area is the temporal lobe, which is responsible for making sense of things.

Never used that website. Gonna assume it's 'don't hug me, I'm scared'
Why yes, yes it is.
