Eh, when I had food poisoning I only threw up for about four hours, plus diarrhea.

I had food poisoning once, but I think I got lucky on the diarrhea front, since the contents of my bowels were violently expelled pretty much first thing in the morning, then I didn't and couldn't eat for the rest of the day, for obvious reasons.

It didn't help when some jackass cut me off to make an exit. A note to all Bay 12ers: Don't pick a fight with an 18-wheeler. You will lose, and it will not be pretty.

...Okay, my driving might be a little erratic right now, but that's more because I'm trying to deal with all these new concepts that don't apply to most other motor vehicles. I'm already acting far more cautiously in the cabin of a truck than I do when driving my own car.

My complaints are things that go far beyond a little erratic.  I've witnessed semi drivers doing crazier things than any other vehicle on the road, including blatantly running red lights right through traffic or spontaneous u-turns over the divider (even the type with a curb surrounding a large patch of grass).  Or veering way off onto the shoulder and coming literally inches from hitting my wife as we were working on changing a tire.

Only posting because it's relevant, not because I think there's any chance you're that insane.

Nah, I'm not crazy. The DOT can be pretty strict about what sort of medical and mental issues drivers can have. My relatively mild depression nearly got me booted the first day until I could assure the examiner that I had never tried to hurt or kill myself. Even then, I had to get a letter from my M.D. before I was given the final approval for training.

Clearly, the solution is to have crazed, bloodshot eyes tattooed on the soles of your feet*.
