So, celestial objects (planets, moons, etc) make "sounds". A lot of them sound kinda cool, or seem similar to those soundtracks of ocean waves and wind or whatever.

And then there's Mercury. Sleep tight!

Ah, classic "Hell is that noise" material. Here's an excerpt from a black hole. You can hear the puppies getting spaghettified.

I think it's awesome that they all sound like ambient noises from campy 70s sci-fi.

None of them are nearly as creepy as numbers stations, though.   They're supposedly how governments communicate secret information to agents operating outside of their own country, and people have met with serious repercussions for successfully decoding messages from them.  Mostly they're artificial voices reading random gibberish, usually repeating it over and over again for very long periods of time with bizarre jingles and sound effects interjecting at random and always alien sounding high pitched whines and static in the background.  Some are just completely insane sounding, though.  Regardless, they're easily the source of all the most nightmarish things I've ever heard.  There are tons of recordings of them up all over the place.

This is a rather famous one.  The first one I ever heard, and still one of the creepiest, I think... because the uncanny valley quality of the voice is just perfect.  The sound of the voice is so close to human, but the way it speaks is disturbingly off.

Those things are cool as hell. I once tuned into one with my radio, it was pretty cool.
