I'm pretty sure they figured out a few years ago that it came from an iceberg breaking?

That first one sounds like a printer, the second one sounds like an ambulance with sirens on.

The Hum?  Is that really so bizarre and controversial a thing?  I've noticed ever since I was a kid that every building has its own unique tone.  I wouldn't even call it low-pitched or a hum.  It's just a tone.  It's also extremely subtle.  I have to concentrate to hear it during dead silence.  It definitely varies by location, but only indoors.  Not sure if I'm talking about the same thing as that wikipedia article or not.  It's not something that's ever bothered me.  Not sure why people would kill themselves over it.

Different.

EDIT:

"Hyslop would describe it thus: "If it's not too bad, it's a bit of a headache. As it gets worse it progresses to an ache across the sternum, like a tight band across my chest. My ears pop, and I get stabbing pains, vertically in my head. I get nosebleeds. My short-term memory goes, I feel nauseous and sometimes I am violently sick."

@SalmonGod: I have noticed similar phenomena at all of my recent places of residence. I have attributed it to electric hum and/or other frequencies that happen to interact with my stairwell (in current house). It was pretty weird to hear and still not entirely sure what is causing it.

Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

Mains hum? One of the wall cavities in my home is just the right size and shape to amplify this into an audible low buzz.

Having been part of a world class prank team who once designed and built a 14Hz oscillator to shake a section of wall in a dorm, I can agree. The results were interesting.

Pretty sure he's just wearing odd colored gloves. And it wasn't two years, it was TEN. The family was there two years, the bees for ten.

EDIT: Oh ok, two years of honey. I know he said the hive had to be there for 10 years, but I guess they dont stockpile honey that long.

But the Hornets, in their swift massacre, failed to kill one larva. One larva, born just that day into the world of death. There was no honey left to feed the lonely larva, only the bodies of his family. He went mad, feral, and developed an insatiable bloodlust for the hornet. When that fateful day arrived, and he saw the band of the wasp devouring more innocents, he rushed in, flew to the head of a wasp, and as he pulled the detonator on his vest he whispered, "Let my Beeple go."

I feel bad for the poor guy to film this.
"Charles, go film the bees being attack by the hornets."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"The bees, Charles, the bees."

Now try it with african bees.

I feel kind of awful for the honeybees. They didn't even stand a chance. :-/ Not to mention, honeybees seem like they have more purpose in life than those hornets do (creating honey, pollinating flowers, etc). Those hornets look like some awful lab experiment gone terribly wrong...

Quote
Wow, all that for some honey.
I still think they could have just went in there and take some of the honey without all that slaughtering. Maybe hurt a couple as a warning, but not all, lol.
Who's going to make your future honey now?

Bees are bros. We must help bros against non-bros, after all, they help our economy, kept flowers alive and give us honey and shit.

The beautiful list goes on ;-;
