I keep having cravings for another jar of this stuff.

Ohgodwhy.
Mmmmmm....there's a guy around here that makes a pumpkin-jolokia hot sauce. Good shit.

I mean, the benevolent guy has got the humans backing him up with flame throwers and other goodies (I'm guessing, in terms of biomass, he'd just eat like... The Amazon or something) while the Evil Twin just noms with impunity.
Destroying a natural ecosystem as diverse as the amazon doesn't seem benevolent to me. A good Jeffrey would be the antithesis of bad Jeffrey; giving biomass to ecosystems instead of taking.
Here, guys, have some trees! HUUUUUUUURK!

Basically, with the Evil Twin having indiscriminate nomming ability going for it, and the Parallel Thing having humans helping him out going for him. Kind of like, quality versus quantity, yanno?
So the Good Thing would win with the Power of Friendship?

It's My Little Eldritch Abomination!
I would watch the SHIT out of that show.

Well, okay, maybe not the Amazon. Maybe farm scraps, or extraneous biomass we can't use. Or could use but would rather give to the friendly neighborhood abomination to fight the not so friendly one.

You could go one step further and say a Jeffrey that makes inhospitable climates hospitable, making dead zones harbours of life and that sort of thing. Kind of what MZ's interpretation is.

I CAN'T STOP READING ONLINE DEBATES ABOUT THE THING! Even tough I've read them over and over, I CANNOT STOP WONDERING WHICH CREATURE WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT AGAINST IT! It's like it's infected the internet and is pre-emptively adapting to it's weaknesses by having humans debate about it.
Or maybe the thing has infected you, tailoring your mind to seek ways it can prevail in every encounter possible...
Eh. Not a bad fate, all in all.

I just slept for 22 hours with terrifying nightmares.

Edit: Or maybe not. This youtube video says I watched it less then 15 hours ago. At anyrate, I went to sleep at five and woke up at three the next day. My weak skills at math tell me that perhaps that was 22 hours.

The point to use 24 hours clock, or at least, AM-PM.

You slept either 10, 22, 34, 46, 58, 70, etc hours.

I can confirm that I slept 22 hours. Then went back to sleep for another four or so. At least no nightmares that time around.

Is terror necessarily a negative emotion? Dreams tend to help you resolve issues or plan ahead, the same applies to most dream contexts.

You're right. Now I am ready in case I need to small small animals with a sledgehammer.

And that's how you will become the sole survivor of the honey badger uprising.

I remember dissecting a cow eyeball at high school biology class, was pretty neat / gross.
Protip: Do NOT volunteer to dissect a snail. While they do look quite nice once dissected, it's obviously quite messy :P

I remember doing heart dissections. We used them as hand-puppets.
