What I want to know is why nobody ever tries to manually open their parachute if the ripcords fail. It isn't like the parachute doesn't exist anymore, and I'd think I a life or death struggle one could just rip it open themselves.

An insurance agent is coming to inspect the property later this week. If things don't go well then my landlord will lose his insurance and everyone will be evicted. I don't think my landlord is going to lose his insurance, but the thought of it happening is making me paranoid and a little panicky.

I'm not even going to go outside just so I don't track dirt in. I'm going to clean up everything I can if I remember to as well. I just don't want to lose my apartment again because of another one of my landlord's fuck-ups. If I do I might end up being homeless or I might end up having to live with my mother again.

That is better than the picture I had in my head but also far worse. Why would they think you deserve to be in prison?

What does this even mean?  Prove you don't deserve it as in prove you're a decent person?  Or prove you didn't commit some crime?  Your ability to prove your worth to some guy who has absolutely no reason to care about you shouldn't have any bearing on whether or not you go to prison.  But this is an anarchist's perspective.
