It sounds like you have a shitty doctor D=. It should be pretty obvious who needs asthma meds and who doesnt

Free clinics are absolutely TERRIBLE...

That depends.. where in the world IS said clinic?

I am so glad I'm able to write my own prescriptions  8).

Re: sleeping pills: the problem is that there is not a lot of variety to choose from. There are first-gen antihistaminics (they're not overly strong, but they have one convenient quirk: in principle, they are not habit-inducing), benzodiazepines, and benzodiazepine analogues. And the two latter ones have tolerance/dependence issues when used medium-long term (AKA: continuous use for ∼ 4 weeks ), which makes prolonged treatements troublesome (the idea is for them to be a temporary cover while whatever underying problem gets addressed). And this is about as far as pharmacology goes in regards to sleeping aids.
Some medications do have some sedative side-effects (antidepressants, antipsychotics), but they're not supposed to be used outside their recommended pathologies (they aren't really that effective outside that context). And in past times, barbiturates were used as sedatives, but their side effects are nasty, their therapeutical margin small, and are much more addictive than benzos, thus they are pretty much phased out.

In general, the idea is to start with healthy habits and sleep hygiene, and then (if it's not enough) move onto the drugs (but with care due to the aforementioned problems), and at the same time, try to address whatever problems are causing the sleeplessness

Yep. Then again I really need to rewatch the trilogy; I'm a little rusty as to what happens at all...

Guy called Keanu is haxor. Searches for someone called 'Morpheus.' Really weird things happen, he gets chased by agents (first glimpse of agent smith), guided by Morpheus to safety, until he turns back.
An interrogation and a body shock later at the hands of the agents, Keanu takes the red pill and opens his eyes to the real world. Where humans are batteries.
Keanu learns how to manipulate the matrix *THERE IS NO SPOON ONLY MY MIND*, Morpheus gets kidnapped - Neo does some REALLY awesome things with his mind (reaches bullet slapping Buddha stage), before messing Agent smith up and saving the day.

Movie 2:
The evil Frenchmen. Agent smith foreshadowing. Zion is under threat of attack. Humanity is under threat of extinction. More foreshadowing. Chemistry building. Neo learns more stuff, more philosophy, oracle gives more insight.
Neo then raises SERIOUS questions when he does the bullet slapping Buddha stuff outside the matrix.
Neo has to make choices.

Movie 3:
Choices which come back to haunt him. Meanwhile Zion is getting Fubar'd after the sabeutage, architect and all that nice stuff, Neo has to fighting.
Final fight between Neo and Agent Smiths, where the talks about destiny and choices made knowing the future of said choices really takes more meaning. Pow.

The dialogue writing for the third movie was terrible. Just terrible turrble. It was so cliched that by the halfway point of the movie, I was quoting a movie I hadn't seen yet.

This. The first movie was like, "AHMAGERD YISS YISS YISS!"
The second was, "Uh, okay. Still cool. Because Matrix."
The third was, "Sigh. Just... Just shut up and punch him please."

Man, I loved Keanu getting to be all superman, and action hero.

But I hated how things suddenly seemed way stupid.

Also the dance party sex scene was a big turn off.
Probably because my younger brother was watching the movie in theaters with me.

I went to the gym for the first time today. I found out I've got no idea what the fuck i'm doing and i'm weak as fuck. I did some squats, bench press, and incline bench on the smith machine, and then had a lame attempt at deadlifting that didn't go so good because my legs were like rubber after squatting.

I've got a long way to go.

Eidolon, that's progress though! The first step to success is to start, and you started.
