Found Dunwich Building in Fallout 3. Spent an hour or so tramping through it. Even though I'm seventeenth level and decked out in Tesla Armour and armed with a Plasma Rifle, it's still terrifying to hear the shrieking of feral ghouls for some reason. That, and the computer logs and audio files. And the chanting dear gods the chanting.

Yes. I'm quite familiar with that. "The Dunwich Horror" has to be my second favourite of Lovecraft's works. First place goes to either "At the Mountains of Madness" or "The Shadow Out of Time".

There are two reasons to cosplay:

1) To look like a specific character.

My favorite fever dream was probably the one where a man was using a psychedelically colored diagram that looked like planets orbiting around a sun to explain Keynesian economics.

There are others, but they were so terrifying, I suppose, that I've repressed them...

I once had a sex dream that seems like it was fever-induced. But it wasn't. Suffice to say, I do not look good in a french maid's outfit. And that was the least disturbing part of it.
