Well, you know the saying you can't pick family...

You can pick your nose, and you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friend's nose. I mean, yeah. Also, it turns out that due to some minor logistical errors, we didn't have a UA that day, because Drug Court rolls that way. Here are some word for word quotes from them, with hypocritical actions in parentheses:
We value your honest (Lies to my face repeatedly)
You can be happy while sober (See them buying beer at the store)
You can't miss UAs (They miss giving UAs)
We care about you (Sends you to prison)
Once you get a job, it will be easier (Sends me to jail for getting a job and having to work forty hours, missing some classes)

Moth crawling around on the sink.  Ok, this isn't uncommon, just need to swat it and wash my hands, right?  So I poke the moth and it disappears.  Seriously, it just vanished.  For a while after that I was seeing something fluttering at the edge of my vision, too.  I think I'm being haunted by some sort of collective spirit of every moth I've ever killed.

Easier said than done. We are only humans. And inevitable death isnt quite a motivator for enduring pain. And, before i die i also want to have some actual fun. I hate this  period between the early adolescense to retiring age where you do nothing but learn and work, no time for procrastination, family, friends or girl. It dosent help either that i think as slow as a turd running down a dry bowl, or that i have the attention span of a stoned goldfish.

Grab it. Surprisingly, I actually manage to catch it.

When I open my palm, the fly's gone.

I look up, and there it is exploded on my wall.

Better than being afraid: Not giving a shit. There are people way worse than you in every way all over the place. No matter what. Just be yourself and try to be unafraid, and everything will work out fine in the end.
As for bullies. As the great Alfred said, "Why do we fall, Mr. Wayne? To get back up." If you fight back, and show the bully you aren't afraid of them, then one of two things: One, they'll stop, because most bullies are cowards. Two, it will get worse, or you may lose the fight. In the second case, take it to an authority every time. Every single time. It isn't tattling or being a snitch if your life could be on the line.
