106 really isn't that scary to me. He just feels over the top. "Ooh he's ugly and can't be fully contained and eats people and chases them around and rots them!"

It has a great scary picture, but I feel like better use could be made of it.

I think it's the pocket dimension thing that ruins 106 for me. They had a good predatory SCP with a creepy effect and then they just pushed it into ridiculous territory.

Also the expungement is really bad. It's one of those articles where any time something interesting is about to happen, they expunge it for... coolness, I guess. This just makes every single buildup a disappointing anticlimax.

I always found that one somewhat comical, mainly because of its reaction to getting its signals intercepted.

Yeah, a lot of the time expungement can give a lot to the atmosphere, but only if done right.
