Lucid is more like... you know it's a dream, so you can screw around with it however you like.

I can control what I do, so I consider it lucid. It always follows the laws of science. Except the monsters. They rape the laws of science in the face.

If your limits in a dream are anything less than anything you can imagine, then you haven't reached full ludicity. You pretty much get to be god inside your head if you can manage it fully. (Supposidly, one can even become more lucid in a dream by simply declaring that it shall be so within the dream. I have yet to try this myself.)

Yeah, I've had that. Although it's not so much "playing God" as it is "playing Director". I've literally had moments in my dreams where something bad happened, and everything freezes, and there's like a voiceover of me going, "No, no, no...let's back up. What if...." and then the dream restarts from just before the Bad Thing happened and cue Deus Ex Machina!

I have lucid recurring dreams. I'm in a ghost town, like Tea Tree Gully in Adelaide, and theres a creature after me. If any of you saw my writing post, its that. A creature of shadow. I usually have time to try and fortify a place, get weapons but it always kills me. But about a week ago I was the creature and I was hunting myself. And I tore my head off with one clawed hand. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???

I might never reach full lucidity. I've tried before but I just keep myself awake. And I'm the type of person who, when I see something unrealistic in my dreams, I realize I am angry and force myself awake. I mean I have weird dreams but when I realize it's a dream I usually wake up.

Don't worry. She doesn't need to lurk in the chatroom you're in to keep tabs on you. The keyloggers on your machine serve well enough at that.

You're missing out on some real fun. Lucid dreaming is the closest thing to shattering reality and flipping off physics while mooning God at the same time.

I have some memories of really messing around with my dream worlds. To the point it's easily summarized with "a blend of Garry's Mod meets Minecraft meets DF modding", another one is basically "mashing all sorts of parallel dimensions into one".
