A humongously long worm came out of a mantis' butt.

I got too creeped out to watch. What happened?

Endoparasitic organism is shown exiting an insectoid host (specifically a mantis) [and my bet is a hairworm], with the mantis shown dead as the parasite slowly extrudes itself out from the abdomen.

It is, in comparative length, nearly twice and a half the size of the mantis. The worm is dark brown to black in color, and flexes and extends its body erratically, yet slowly.

The host is dead when this occurs in the video, though alive only seconds before the cameraman...err, agitates it with a mop. ._.

Parasites are our modern world aliens.

Aye, that's probably the worst thing about it. Up until the signal was given the Mantis was allowed to live. It tries to take a shower, bam, assbursters tear through its abdomen mortally wounding it in the process.
