I've found that the thermic lance is useful in there, if you can get one and your melee skill is decent.
But yeah, that place is creepy as heck.
Made worse if you normally pick stuff off from a distance, like I do with the gauss rifle.

Oh yeah. I almost exclusively snipe things, so when I have to enter a building, or any inside space, shit gets tough. Even tougher when it's mutants, because they don't stand still and let me headshot them.
