Yeah same, I don't have a motorbike either.

Out of all the family members and friends who own a motorbike: my uncle had a Ducati which was a very rare one which he never fell off- he donated it to a museum a few years back.
my grandmother who rides a motor-scooter but has a motorbike license (She's 64)
and my good friend who owns a Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

The most dangerous things about motorcycles are bad weather and other drivers not paying attention.  The stakes are higher, but you can also avoid many accidents that you couldn't in a car.

And riding a motorcycle is just a completely different experience from a car.  There's a level of focus and connection with your surroundings that can't get from being isolated in your own bubble of controlled space in a car.  It's the best for seeing new places.  Plus, save tons of money on fuel.

Oh aye, the feeling of speed on a motorbike and pushbike both are amazing. 60km/h on those feels like WARP SPEED, but 60km/h in a car feels like 'why bother'.

I want to get a velomobile just for fun. That'd be awesome.

I'll probably get some form of not-car motorized vehicle when I go to college, but that's because I plan on going to a place where instead of snow, they get rain. Wouldn't want to ride one on ice. Perhaps an electric vehicle of some kind.

The speed honestly doesn't do much for me.  It's the feeling of your body weighing into every movement and being connected with the world instead of cut off from it.  There's a zen to the whole thing.

What if a recluse spider takes shelter in your motorcycle helmet? And what if the spider starts moving in your helmet, crawling through your hair and breaking your concentration.

And then, you almost crash into something.

But no, do what you always do when something like that happens. Calmly pull over to the side of the road, then promptly freak th'fook out. Panic is for after you can't run into anyone anymore.

Laugh, because the Recluse spider doesn't live in Australia.

Then, remember that we've still got Whitetails with necrotic fangs, Victorian funnel-webs that make you sick, Sydney funnel webs that can kill you, Huntsmans with germy fangs but no venom, Mouse spiders with fangs big enough to cause a proper wound as well as highly poisonous venom and many others besides.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

I had a bee fly up into my helmet while riding once.  Luckily, it was a pretty chill bee.  I just flipped up my visor and waited patiently for him to decide to leave, which he did like 20 seconds later.

[Loud Whispers]

Once in Malaysia, some brightly coloured spider jumps on me, looks cool, I leave it be, but my sister decides to flip out and start hitting it with a tissue (wtf?), it bites me and jumps off.

5 minutes later lotsa pain and it looks like someone hit my chest with a waffle iron ;P

Bottom line is, spiders are cool.

Bottom line is panicking is stupid and results in bad things happening.  Glad I'm not the type.
