I don't know why she grabbed the hand, but it sounds like thereafter she just kind of forgot she was holding onto it. Then again, I feel like perhaps I've fallen for an application of Poe's Law. I really can't tell who thinks the joke here lies in the complete lack of real information as to whether or not she desires his genitalia, and who thinks it just lies in the references and over-the-top exclamations instead.

At the same time, this user was using, as an avatar, a cropped section from Frans Hals' portrait of René Descartes. As a consequence of this juxtaposition of vulgarity with a respected, eloquent philosopher's image, the phrase rapidly grew into a sort of joke in which the quote is erroneously attributed to Descartes, himself. To refer to Descartes' Imperative, then, is to refer to the phrase "Give her the dick", or, in this case, "Give her the D", a common abbreviation.
