Killed only 3 wasps today.  I think the war is over.  The battlefield is littered with many corpses.

Spend the afternoon interrogating survivors about their motives.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

The war will never be over.  You know what must be done.  You must strike now, for your children, for you children's children.  Neurotoxin is a terrible thing, but it is your only option.  You will no longer fight on your porch, or in  your room, or in your yard.  For you shall now take the fight to THEIR home.

But what if their home is on your porch/room/yard?

I think they may be working on moving into the tree right by our front door.  They're not coming near our porch much anymore, but I can see at least a dozen buzzing around that tree all the time.

No.  That's just what they want.  They may think they can change warfare by avoiding direct confrontation, but I'm not afraid to chase in after them.  Besides, I get a unique satisfaction from the traditional flyswatter.  Sure, I might have the occasional lapse of judgment in the heat of battle and take out a honeybee, but they should know better than to hang around wasps anyway.

I might have to install cameras in every bedroom in the neighborhood, though, just to make sure no one is secretly harboring any wasps out of misguided sympathies or coercion.

If you think a flyswatter is fun, get one of those electric ones that look like tennis racquets. Your local dollar store probably has them.

I have one of them.
One time i got one of those huge slow flies and its internal fluids started leaking through the joints in its carapace. Sweet revenge.

I once had one of those. They're quite cruel, especially when the batteries start to run out.

We had one too. Then I forgot it was an electric one and used it as a normal flyswatter. We no longer have one.

I am confused. Do you have to use the electric one differently than a normal one?

Also, I found this while searching about these scary devices, terrifying me as per thread title:
