She does know him, and I have reason to believe she does like him somewhat.

And discretion is needed, he wants it to be a suprise of sorts. Going to the house is slight trouble because I have a vague knowledge of where she lives, and, to add to the issue she lives in a town which is about 40 minutes away by car, so casually dropping by would seem somewhat wierd.

I'll ask around, maybe google an adress book or something, if all else fails I'll ask her friend and hope she doesn't spill the beans.
