Europe ftw.
Greece >_>

... and Ireland, Portugal, Finland, Spain, Italy and so on.
Parts of Germany ftw
Parts of Germany uber Alles?

...what, too soon?
Just because I remember, parts of Germany Unter Alles.

US isn't all that bad. It has low taxes for example. And Joe Biden. How many of your politicians are as Funny as Joe Biden?

That's Europe. Canada is going to manipulate the US and Eurpoe into mecha-fighting with gigantic mechas made up of your countries and then swoop in and take you both down when you're tired.
Now, if you could look here for a second:
*neuralyser*
I made an inane post that you have no intention of rereading.
hehe, Canada. Is funny. Because of NAFTA. Which I ill never let them live down. Because we get all their oils. Other then Oil, what is in canada? Polar bears strip-mining the earth ice for gold and uranium, that's what. That's why Canada spends all it's money on fighting global warming, because they're polar bears.

Cracked, misko?
I am dissapoint.

Give Cracked a bad rap all you want. At least they're FIRST best at failing to be what they meant to be.

I was actually mirroring someone else's opinion because I have no idea why Cracked is bad.
Also, first?

Cracked is bad because they're full of shit. They're full of shit for various reasons, including but not limited to stating falsehoods as facts and publishing advice columns as humor.

I was thinking France FTW personally, where people decided to go all "burn everything" when thier last government tried to raise the retirement/pension age from 58 to 60. Seems they have thier heads screwed on the right way.

Europe ftw.
Greece >_>

... and Ireland, Portugal, Finland, Spain, Italy and so on.
What, Greece's doing fine. Nice culture, great tourism. Lots of stuff to look at. Bit of financial problems, but procentually they're doing better than the USA, so can't complain.

Same goes for the other nations. It all seems to me that the EU problems are a bit exaggerated to prevent people from seeing other problems.

I appreciate Greece, France, and Spain.  All have populations willing to get out on the streets and make some consequences when things go too far.  If Americans were willing to riot for weeks everytime a cop killed an innocent person, like Greece did in 2008, things would be fucking different.  Whatever their problems are, at least they're willing to engage in direct action.  Most Americans are still convinced that they have no power in society beyond shaking their head at the news and voting every couple years.

You are mistaking general unrest for righteous indignation. If our financial state was as bad as theirs there would be rioting in the streets for weeks. Hell, we skimmed the top of that, or do you not remember OWS? One can talk about the debt and the deficit, but at the end of the day Americans are mostly shielded from the effects of economic downturn.

I sincerely doubt this has much to do with some great force of will to correct injustice by flipping the hell out.

In some cases, yeah, but not all.  And I've seen plenty of material from those events indicating there are at least a significant number of people involved putting more thought into their actions than "Life sucks.  I'm angry.  Let's break some shit."  OWS was (is) also more than general unrest.

Regardless, the anger at life sucking is what is causing this to happen rather than just changes in voting patterns and acceptable political opinions. Separate axises resulting in unique outcomes.

Plus, a situation like that isn't all sunshine. The Greeks might be prepared to topple their own government, but some of the groups that wish to do that are violently radical and wouldn't form a government expressing very many ideals of liberal democracy. The Golden Dawn are the worst offenders, but there are plenty of others.
