Cold Storage room was, I think, the most deeply frightening part of the adventure. Not even because of the color scheme, but just because of how little we know about it besides the possibly Chzo-esque nature of the artifacts. Every other part of the game is explained or at least hand waved, but no, the Eldritch horror artifacts are just flat out there.

When I first read that, before going back and reading for context, I thought you meant the cold storage in Pokemon Black/White. I was confused as fuck, and thought I'd missed something. That would be one wacky crossover.

Ugh, asshole nearly ran my mom and I over.  So we're walking home from watching Les Misérables (which is totally amazing, EVERYONE GO SEE IT NOW), and we're crossing the road, when a fucking taxi makes a blatantly illegal left turn from behind us, accelerates to cut us off, and passes less than half a meter in front of us and speeds off.  Nothing like nearly getting run down to get the blood pumping...
