Met my nephew, age 9. Days, not years. Realized that babies make me incredibly uneasy. I don't trust the tiny poop machines. They seem... Fragile.

Weird, wrinkly, hairless, uselessly proportioned limbs, never looking happy, never silent.
It's insane to think that billions of years of evolution are supposed to make me find them cute. Babies are one of the least cute things I can think of.

They have more redeeming features once they're past the newborn stage. After a few months they stop being angry shaved orangutans and start being able to do things like smile and laugh, which makes them a little less hideous.

As my sister says, no. No they're not. It takes incredible force to break baby bones, because they're exceptionally flexible. This is why hospitals automatically assume abuse if you bring in an infant with a broken bone. Their skulls are delicate, sure. Soft. But the baby as a whole is basically helpless wolverine.
