Do you know how deadly a frontal assault is? There is nothing more horrifying than the prospect of scaling the walls, storming the armaments and by those means setting the city's heart ablaze.

Perhaps, but even if you put stock in such pagan beliefs, what pitiful manner of saga would be left to tell of a reckless, untried commander, cut down so soon in their first campaign as they mindlessly rushed their foe's fortifications? Not the kind of legacy I would like to leave behind, I tell you.

Besides, dying with one's sword in hand is actually the kind of thing we're trying to avoid here, if you take my meaning...

That would explain why things went so smoothly with my ex. Either is a good way to get close to a Valkyrie :3

I'm talking about the beginning, silly. Not the end, which by the way went very smoothly on my side, but bought her an admission ticket for stationary psychiatric treatment.

Turns out that it is possible to defeat an ancient Norse goddess. Doesn't feel very good though.

Technically all Norse goddesses are going to be defeated eventually.

According to my wife, I twitch and start in my sleep often. I suspect I've dealt myself some neurological damage with all the drug abuse. Which would explain the anxiety attack I recently got from smoking weed again for the first time in a long time.

A lot of people twitch in their sleep, so not necessarily drug-related. It's still a good idea not to do drugs, though.

I started getting persistent, unfounded anxiety and more severe than previous sleeptwitching after the last time I took LSD. I always twitched and rolled in my sleep when I was younger. A fact that frustrated my mother and now my wife as I always pull up the sheets somehow. I was literally one of the most calm and unflappable people before that last dose and now I'm often on edge and paranoid. I know drugs could reveal previously dormant psychosis, I just never expected to get an anxiety disorder. O.o

LSD is risky, no matter what people say. The fact that it is been reinvestigated recently and approved for use in curing depression, and other pshychiatric afflictions only shows it's potency to seriously alter your state of mind with only a small dose. I would not risk accidentally altering the wrong state just for the pleasure of recreational use. The RNG is too fickle for that (I refer to LSD's capability of creating new connections between neurons in a seemingly random fashion).
Just stick to weed, or if that doesn't make you feel comfortable, just no dugs at all might be a good plan.
