On the topic of weird and awesome malware: there's also a spy program that's made for boxes completely isolated from any network: it transmits info to an external device using fan (or drive; that's a different version) speed modulation. Basically, you just have to hang around for some time (apparently quite some time: it's rather slow as information transfer tech goes) with a recording device, and bam.

I mean that is so tedious you might as well just break in and steal the data physically. And I fail to see when that would be useful. Targets that would warrant that would have security preventing it. Like, even if you somehow avoid the IT security, you can't really squat by the Pentagon recording fan noises. Targets that you can realistically pull this off are probably not worth the time. Especially if they don't use the internet yet use the machine regularly enough for you to predict and record them.

Probably? Hazmat is usually pretty mundane, so far as I'm aware... don't believe most of it would require the transporter to go under any sort of non-disclosure.

Hazmat is everywhere on the road. As long as you aren't sharing out specific details it really isn't an issue.
