those don't work for me, the ADD suppresses any psycotic drugs in my head, not that i take them but its a interesting case for me.

I think the complaints are generally geared more towards "they don't do anything" than "they have horrible effects".  Shouldn't be a huge worry, especially if you can get prescribed them so easily.

I may or may not have a phobia of drugs that may or may not be to a reasonable degree.

Doesn't seem entirely irrational to me.  Not everything can be solved by drugs, after all.

Although I did find quite an interesting fact about it just now: apparently, the extra motivation it gives you towards the start of the treatment is actually quite dangerous to very seriously depressed people.  This danger recedes as the drug course continues, though, I think.
