I was only five or six so I'm probably not remembering it all that well. It may get have been my upper thigh, not my testicles since all I have is a vague memory of electronic, pain and testicles.

When I was still a kid, there was this gang of scum that would go around the neighborhood at night and piss through people's mailbox openings in the door (Dutch homes mostly have a slit in the door rather than a separate outdoor mailbox).

At a certain point, my dad got so fed up that he bought a small cattle fence wire generator, and hooked it up with some chicken coop wire gauze behind the mailbox slot.

If scream decibels are a good measure for pain, I'd say getting your balls electrocuted is very painful.

Went down the road earlier, it's a full moon and things seemed rather strange.
There seemed to be lots of people around, some of whom seemed unusually decent for this town and some of whom seemed especially nasty. Most of them were behaving in unexpected ways, or so it seemed to me. As though people were sneaking around, up to no good.

I've been hearing a lot of sirens, even by this town's standards.
No idea if it's the full moon actually affecting people's behaviour or if I'm just feeling paranoid- possibly due to aftershocks of the anxiety I felt whilst down the road, where I encountered an unexpected amount of people- but I'm alone in this house, I heard (or imagined) a noise earlier and now I'm seriously creeped out.

...Probably just the neighbours that I'm hearing, and my hearing is just too bad to identify the sounds properly, but for now I'm sitting in the kitchen with my back to a wall and my whacking stick handy just in case.

Sure hope I get over this soon, or that it's just a full-moon thing.

I'm much less scared of ghosts than bloodthirsty, living home invaders.
