Relevations can occur in seconds, breakthroughs within minutes, spreading of ideas within hours, creation within days, distribution within weeks, change within months, upheaval within years, renaissance within decades, and you're questioning the significance of time? Seconds are impossibly valuable, let alone so many years.

Stylized art always seems spookier to me videogames have conditioned me to look at horrible ghastly beasts and think "oh, I should shotgun that", but cartoon characters.

Of course, having a shotgun to shotgun things with does make things a lot less scary, and it's quite possible that it was my lack of shotgun that made the arting look scary. That, and some artists just know how to infuse their drawings with the undiluted terror of a thousand nightmares. Perhaps they just have the right coal for it. :v (but still, making Pinkie Pie scary? WELL DONE)

Videogames have tought me that if I'm faced with something horrifying, I probably have a shotgun, or at least a crowbar.

Not exactly today, more like last night/3amish.  I had just watched the entirety of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared series, read all the lore, the Tvtropes, wanted to get all that juicy analysis, all good fun.  The episodes of course were disturbing as expected, but not exactly overwhelming. 

Due to very recent diarrhoeal trouble, I've had to get up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom, and each time I'd get more and more exhausted.  Sleep continued to elude me, and I'd find myself nodding off, only to be woken up by snippets from the show and genuinely frightening recollections of ghost stories from the old country that I'd heard as a kid.  Psychedelic youtube series, ghost stories, stomach pains and fatigue made for a very agitated mind, and it was with a little more bounce in my step that I rushed back to my bedroom and downed a few imodium tablets.

Oh yeah.  My best friend shared the latest of that show, shortly before our Vampire tabletop session.
That's some freaky shit.

A couple years ago, in DND instead of Vampire, we got a magic boat which shifted through the plane of time.  A journey would take the normal amount of time (as if the land were water) but we'd only experience a few minutes.

We made the mistake of asking whether it could go back in time somehow.
