In less than a month I have Exams. I'm terrified that I'll fail my math one, and thus fail math, and thus have to take it again.

Went out to eat at a restaurant with parents. Left wallet there by mistake. Didn't notice until back at home.

Cue panic and frantic drive back to restaurant. Wallet recovered successfully. That was the realest terror I've felt in a while.

The new gov't passed a law that made the appointment of the directors of national media a direct ministerial decision - effectively, at ruling party's discretion. And promptly appointed a guy who was infamous for quipping that 'the dimwitted masses will eat up anything' on live TV a couple years back.

No, the (comparatively) sane governments are basically just Scandinavia and the area around Germany. Possibly France/Spain, but the UK, Balkans, and everything east of Hungary is way out.

Went in for root canal surgery today. That was pretty unnerving.

Also, prior to the surgery I was taking codeine for the pain and that caused worrying palpitations which kept me from sleeping.
