Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Lots and lots of compaction over time and probably code golfing or something else I would have no clue about.

It's heavily obfuscated on purpose.  Sites do that sometimes to try to "protect" their source code, even though that's ultimately futile with javascript.  Exploit sites do it to avoid being detected by antivirus software.

I don't know why *Google* is doing it, but it's the best I've ever seen.

THEY COOK BABIES IN CHINA
That's just Korean anti-Chinese propaganda, right? Surely this can't be real, right?

Right?

In a world with 8 billion people, the answer to "are people actually doing that!?" Is almost always going to be "yes."

Those aren't babies, those are fetuses, which are obviously not human and thus it is not cannibalism to eat them or else an ethical house of cards collapses.

And that is what made me absolutely terrified today.

It... actually looks pretty similar to some conservative anti-abortion propaganda I've seen.

Oh jeez. I think I may have broken my friend's headphones when I was borrowing them. :-X
Edit: This is really bad. I'll have to buy a new pair and they weren't cheap. I was planning on buying myself a new pair in three days when I get paid so I wouldn't have to borrow his anymore. Fuuuuck. I can't live without headphones, at least not whilst sharing a house with the noisy dickhead housemate I've complained about in the past.

Editedit: Wait, I fixed them. Somehow.

* Yoink breathes a long sigh of relief.

I don't know what was wrong, but that was terrifying enough that I'm going to give them back right now and never borrow them again. Yikes.

If it had appeared on, say, FOX news or Daily Mail, that would have been my guess. Problem is that I have no idea what sort of "slant" The Seoul Times has. But I'm guessing that South Korea might not be so happy with China's support of N. Korea and would seek to demonize them in some way.
