I seriously get woken up from a car passing by the street outside sometimes.

To put this in perspective I live on the third level, on top of a hill.

And everyone I know who is able to vividly remember and lucidify their dreams is also a very light sleeper.

I'm a very, very deep sleeper.  I slept through lightning striking my house once.  I've gotten better, but I used to have to be shaken for like 10 minutes before I'd wake up... and then I could get up and be active for several minutes, fall back asleep, and have no memory of ever getting up.
Honest question (though I think this belongs more in the dream thread?):

Is it...normal to not be, or react as afraid despite within a nightmare?...generally speaking? (As I really feel similar to those above | I do feel afraid at times but that's...extremely rarely. o_O)
As in nightmare = comparatively dangerous or commonly horrifying situations (ie I see relative with no face ._. ...In the dark living room of my house. Facing out the window, who then turns abruptly towards me while highlighted by the moonlight. I go "O hi."...)

Umm... yes for me, I think.  Of the dreams I can remember, most of them had major aspects of danger or creepiness, but I only felt emotional reaction in a handful of those.

... whatever the point-of-view character is for the more disturbing dreams I end up having does, indeed, tend to not particularly react with fear or disturbance or whatev'. Me on the other hand, often gets riled up enough to wake myself up from inside the dream.

I'll only have like three or four of that sort of thing I can remember/wake me up per year, though, and that's with pretty regularly (as in, usually at least a few times a week, sometimes a few times a day) having dreams I remember (for at least a little while) after waking up. Most of the time, when it comes to dreaming, I can only assume my subconscious freaking loves me or somethin'. Lotta' real nice stuff. High adventure, delightful lasciviousness, wonderful conversations, oft times pretty amazing set-pieces or ideas (dream brain kinda' loves to invent or improve on games ♥), the list just sorta' goes on. Sometimes the ruddy things will even compose music for me, to the point I kinda' wish I was worth a damn when it comes to writing down musical notation. If I could dream indefinitely, I probably wouldn't bother waking up.

My reaction in these dreams was one mostly of ambivalence, if I recall correctly. I treated everything as completely normal, at least externally. Since I only remember dreams I made a conscious action in, I find that to be pretty odd.

Guh, just had the WORST dream. The weird part is it was going so nicely and then it went bad out of nowhere.

Rest of dream was weird dreamnothings, but near the end I was sleeping on my couch (in dream) and then A MOTHERFUCKING TARANTULA PRIED OPEN MY MOUTH AND TRIED TO CLIMB IN. GAHFUCK

Luckily dream-bro was there to get it the fuck away but goddamn subconscious, you scary.

Mouthspiders are good for dental hygiene though, why would you be scared of them?

They keep more undesirable insects from inhabiting your mouth.

Spent my study period terrified because there were people tossing a rugby ball around nearby. I'm too far for it to actually be a problem, but I was still a bit paranoid because from what I've learned in my old school, my head is a magnet for balls.

But do rugby balls actually hurt? Or are they soccer ball (football) tier pain?

My impression of rugby is that everything involved in it is pain.

One test to ascertain whether you like playing rugby or not is to tazer your genitals.

I think the level of pain depends more on how much force is applied thereto and less on the balls themselves (unless it's a shot put).
