The cannibal phase is like, the worst.

Or was that just me...?

I really want to play horror games, I really do. A lot of them sound like they have really cool stories and the gameplay in theory sounds like it'd be a lot of fun.

So, I got "Outlast" on sale. I'd heard good things from friends. First screen, you set the brightness. "Move this dial to the right until the monster is just barely visible," it says. Nope. I'm turning that baby ALL THE WAY UP.

Then I start playing, and there's a television that flipped on right as I stared at it and made a screaming noise. Nope. I'm out. It's 5 A.M. and I haven't slept and it's dark and now is not the time.

I'll come back when I have friends to cry with :/

It's irritating, especially when you don't really want to but have to.

Nope. In my opinion by far the worst phase is the clothier one... I made WAY too many rope reed fibre goods.

I'm running late. D:
At this rate I'll probably miss the first band. I hope I don't miss the second one, I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

I have five minutes played of Amnesia. I quit because it got dark outside and I was too alone. The short cut is still on my desktop, taunting me.

I sympathize with your experience.

It took me months to get back to my "stuck in a cabin with limited (raw) food, no firewood, no warm clothes and surrounded by wolves" save in The Long Dark. That game is really spooky. The inevitability of a slow death isn't nice to have to play through, because there's always this slimmest sliver that you might stumble upon something great that will save your life like a well-stocked building. But at the same time you kind of know that it's never going to happen.

A house opposite where I'm standing just turned on some loud techno music all of a sudden. Scared the crap out of me for a few seconds.

Was going to post this yesterday but I was slept.

In English we had to write out a romantic scene, and I was the only person in the room to write it about two people who are presumably going to settle down and love each other. The rest were pretty much all one-night stands/obviously not stable or just so vague I couldn't make out anything.
At the risk of sounding corny, I'm more than a little scared of how devalued love seems to be in my generation. And I don't even LIKE romance.

Why is it that people always generalize children they see to the entire goddamn generation they come from?
