I tend to believe more opposition that behaves - surprise, surprise! - exactly like Putin or his crony killed one of their own.

Especially considering that it is not first (not will be it last) Putin's opponent that got killed.

Dead, he's a martyr and a collossal blow to Putin's rather high ratings.

This will lower his ratings? How so? Putin's high ratings in Russia stems mainly from Putin ensuring (by killings, jailings etc) that no alternative exists. So it in fact helps his rating.

His death benefited pretty much everybody except Putin

So, my stepdad lost one of the keys to the house, an it's likely that somebody stole it. He doesn't live with us....
But anyway, we live in an unpleasant part of of the neighbourhood, by which I mean the moment someone figures out that it's the key to our house we'll be robbed blind.
It might be fine for the next 2 days, because my mum'll be home then, but after that...
I'm now scared to go to sleep tonight.
