Didn't even make such a big fuss about it, just said they wanted sauceless spaghetti.
My mom accepted. Suddenly, while we were eating, she said they needed to try with sauce before hand.
My sister said she had actually tried it before, and she didn't want it.
My mom breathed in deeply, stood silent for a few seconds, then said, "I hate you. I hate you." And started ranting a bit in a dissonantly calm voice for her.

Sauceless spaghetti? bluh.

Also, the green sauce is pesto sauce, which I really like, but everybody has their own preferences.

Caroline, is your mother/father seeing a counselor about their attitude, specifically your mother? She's exhibiting...not good traits imbedded in her personality there.

I'm assuming that this the only time this has happened because Caroline seems rather shocked. Wouldn't post it here if it were part of the daily routine.

Er, actually this isn't the first time Caroline's parents have acted aggressive, made threats, been abusive, etc. The problem is that she's in Honduras where child protective services are essentially nonexistent. Thus the kidnap/rescue her meme.

It really isn't just one incident. Caroline has made multiple posts about her parents being bad at being parents. Isn't the first time people have made jokes about kidnapping Caroline and her siblings in the name of rescuing them from bad parenting.

I think this was the first time her mom blatantly said "I hate you" like that to her children though.

...You have not seen the past incidences of Caroline's notices.

The reason why we're suggesting such, is because of how the attitude is uncontrolled--and how its affecting everyone else including the person with that attitude. Add in reports of child maltreatment and verbal abuse and you'd get factors moving to imbalance a personality.

Given the whole situation in Honduras, I doubt their mental health care system is better than the US's. Plus it's not like she can force them to see a counselor, being a minor and all.
