How to deal with web-spitters?
As in, when caught in a web is there something specific I can do to, like, cut myself loose?

Unfortunately, there's not all that much you can do once you're webbed but wait. Webbers are scary. Best way to deal with 'em is usually by plonking away with ranged weaponry of some kind.

When caught in a web, throw something at yourself. It will break the web.

How can you change your personality facets? I can change my values before I start the game but not my facets.

Can weapons and armor break/get damaged? Can edged weapons go dull?

They can break, yes, although normal weapons take so long to actually break it doesn't really matter (the doinky knives used by the peasants break much more easily, although they're also considered "tools" and not weapons).
Edged weapons don't go dull yet.

i also hope they don't implement that, as it will be just one more layer of micromanagement that is arbitrarily irrelevant for the simulation, but would require too much player interaction.

Agreed, I'd rather not deal with constant weapon resharpening either.

Normal weapons will break on you if you use 'em long enough. Fortunately, you can make any object indestructible by naming it, thus promoting it to the status of "honorary artifact".

I like buying an iron carving knife off some peasant or other, than naming it. It makes for a nice little backup shank once you get around the whole "breaks when lodged in somebody's throat" issue.

Are different kinds of knives actually different, or are they all the same under the hood?
