Though, minecarts don't get tired. :D
It really is an great feeling riding into a bandit camp on a high-speed minecart and sending the Boss's head soaring with a well timed slice.
It is also nice driving a mine-cart through the middle of a town, hoping desperately not to hit anything.

I mentioned doing that to try and run over a giant zombie jaguar only to go flying into a T intersection and hit the second story of a building before landing on the jaguar (which slid across the ground under me) and then jumping out of the way so the minecart hit it.

I mentioned doing that and hitting a wall head-first and braining my adventurer. Because I'm just not as cool as you, I guess.

I still want to try a minecart shotgun trick with a cart loaded full of weapons and a hill near a bandit camp.

I had full armor and more durable bone/skin/muscle tissues since I basically made a race to do stupid shit like that, I don't suggest doing fullspeed minecart combat with a vanilla character in rinkydink partial armor.

I can second second that suggestion. Even with a full set of steel armor one wrong push, or trying to ditch the minecart at the wrong time, can really do some damage.

Not that seeing how far into a dense forest you can make it while constantly accelerating (when not zig-zaging between trees) isn't a good challenge as long as you recognize the likely-hood of exploding a few significant body parts.

Is there a way to turn off the dark purple afterimages that creatures leave when they exit your view? I'm tired of my allies covering up stairs and such.
Do multiattacks use stamina? I find myself tired a lot, but I dunno if that's just me being unobservant with the sprint command or not. (custom creature with multiple limbs that can attack at once)
They reduce accuracy, the actual exertion from individual swings is pretty small unless you're like, a peasant with low endurance/other relevant attributes. It's sprinting most likely. Jog more or get a syndrome on you that gives [NOEXERT] even if just as a temporary "combat rage" ability if you want the fun of sprinting around into people.
Well, depends on what magnitude of "small" we're talking about, as the creature in question is throwing out six to ten attacks every time (6 weapons, 4 body parts). Small x 10 may not be so small.

Yeah, ten swings per round would start to wear you out pretty fast.

I know my usual method of setting to close combat > crawling into a downed enemy winds up getting me tired after enough attackspam, usually a bit shorter period of time than the periodic "disengage and move past them/need to restart combat" breaks that occur when you're [NOEXERT] or have ridiculous endurance.

In Legend Mod I saw that a demon was imprisoned not far from me, so I decided to visit him.

But he's not in the castle, nor in the village. I check all the houses, I'm pretty sure.

So where is he ? Tell me it is not a legend-only feature...

Thanks for the answers !
(and sorry for my probably bad english)

He could be underground or whatnot, when things get imprisoned in certain sites it glitches.

And there isn't any way to find him ? With Dfhack or something ?

I have had crap luck with it, I've gotten random success doing similar stuff after digging around through references and shit in dfhack to track them down, I had a similar problem when I learned if you run into a room with a dragon posing as a deity and kick it really hard in the head, sometimes you hit it so hard it falls out of the world and I had to figure out how to get it back so I could kill it properly.

It ain't easy and I do this shit a lot.

Is there a way to get the companion AI to hold a crutch and something else? My axewoman adamantly continues to drop her axe, even though she has a free hand.

Wondered if that was just me, I could swear I remember them using other stuff with a crutch before but maybe not.

Why is it that your character's armor is always the undermost item as opposed to the outermost item? If you are wearing mail with is an OVER (inner) item and a breastplate with is an ARMOR (outer) item, your armor is listed as mail.

I think it lists the most covering item with armor tags, or last put on item with most coverage otherwise.
