When gening a world if you set boogymen types to 0 there will be no boogymen

Also there are a few tricks for it but I don't know them

I just survived several as a vampire with full iron. I killed so many, I was even farming them for skill gain, until the world SIMPLY STOPPED SPAWNING THEM after two nights in a row where i massacred them all with no real loss to myself.

I only have a -sharp- claystone and I'm a dabbling misc object user so I'm pretty sure the night doesn't fear me.

Now you know why the night fears you. alternatively: if you are really really really really fast, you can just outrun them, even pull duck and weave patterns if you can hit and run before they can hit back

find a meadhall, ransack it for all its worth. they won't mind, tis how i got my gear.

I created an elf adventurer on a 250 years pocket world and spawned in a forest retreat, it seems there was some kind of merchant trading as i see a lots of items on the ground.

And there are half a hundred of elven wrestlers too ... and they're fighting with each other to death.
I noticed a "ringleader" so i assume there was some kind of big elven bandit army attacking that elven retreat, but none is hostile to me (i guess due to how buggy reactions/emotions still are)

So my question is : as both side are full of elven wrestlers how to recognize who are the guys supposed to be part of my civ and the guys supposed to be part of the bandit army ?

I guess the ringleader was part of the bandit army, so i filled him with arrow, but still none turned hostile , making it hard to roleplay my character taking part in the defense of the territory as i have no idea if my target is a friend of foe then.

edit : i asked a wrestler "who rules the place" and he replied it was blablabla ... is ringleader ... We are in the right in all matters.
... looks like the ringleader was the title of the ruler of that elven retreat and not a bandit , oops it seems i killed our leader.
i retired my character and checked the legends, and yes i was a member of the faction ruled by the "ringleader" i just killed.

I too wish that it was easy to tell friend from foe as far as who is in what faction.
