I have a number of questions:

1. Where can I get a backpack for my Outsider hero?

2. Is it possible to save a companion from floundering to death?

3. Is there a way to survive without armor?

4. Which is better: +Bronze Breastplate/Greaves/HighBoots/Helm+ or +Iron MailShirt/ChainLeggings/LowBoots/Cap+?

1. Search Human fortresses you always find one around inside

2. After you make it across the river wait a hour all your buddies should be next to you

3. High dodge i would believe but i would doubt it as i said on 1 in human fortresses its filled with iron armor and copper armor for the taking they wont get mad either

I managed to find a Backpack in a tomb... and my Tigerman Outsider has now compensated for lack of armor with 6 +Iron Shield+.

But... new question: How do I stack currency so I don't have my inventory flooded with identical coins?

Can't. Coins are rather variable depending on which civ you're in, though: in one they're valuable, in another they're worthless. Gems are better.

In current release I do not bother picking up coins. Only some gems, if they are rare. Coins are worthless after you finish your gear, and you usually do after visiting first fortress. Also, I find 95% of shops dead and abandoned.

I have a small problem. In my first quest from a royal that I need to complete to unlock other quests I was told to kill a reptile women in the sewers. The problem I have is that this city has no sewer entrances. I did find them though. Trapped in a 5X1 channel with no way of getting in but a grate between me and them. Is there anyway to do this quest or can NPC's starve to death. I'm honestly thinking that looking for vemon or acid and pouring it into the water is the only way to kill them because this room is fully submerged and I can't access it. Any other ideas on how to kill her.

Edit: Nevermind, while looking for something I was ambushed and became a lost everything below the neck to nerve damage. I've decided to retire this guy

Hm my only advice is find a demon prisoner to have as a companion since they are immune to syndromes

This is normal having smaller ranged accurace when sneaking? How to get this better?
Really, I hit target noticeably more often, when I'm standing visible than hidden.

EDIT: it seems to me little untrue now, because I managed to hit (and bruise guts) ettin several times by throwing rocks when I was hidden... weird... More verification needed.

Can an adventurer die of old age? What is it like?

Somebody retired an adventurer to play a few forts, and in the interim the adventurer got real old.  When unretired, the advenurer took one step and poofed into dustdied.

They generally make you fail at combat. So, your chances to dodge, attack, block and all that are way worse. And yes, they are permanent.
