With [POWER] and [SPHERE:relevant spheres] and time retired after being famous, probably?

Better question: do you want to become a deity?
No, you can't ask about troubles past the first "well we've got beasts/bandits/etc" screen, it dumps you back in the first troubles conversation screen each time.

Well, you can get worshippers by talking to someone, or at least it seems like you can as they mention that they worship you, but it doesn't show up in legends that way.

Do you know if groups can become CIVS if let alone?

Not currently, though Toady hinted that he would look at having adventurer groups retain a link to the parent civ instead of the situation where they break all ties like we have now, he figured he'd leave it open without forcing ties originally, but now it makes lots of shit problematic like claiming sites, campsite interaction with the world, and so forth.

Ah that's what I thought... Can I dfhack a group into a CIV ? Would be great to create a small camp and turn it into a large Civ.

Sounds to me like asking about a deity is broken such that they always respond that they worship that deity. I had a human high priest of a human religion of a human civ tell me that he worshiped my other side of the world elvin civ's force.

I'm trying to find local leader but I can't ask anyone about his location. He is elf brigand and leader of hillock full of elves. I can ask about locations of monsters but not about him despite being ask about him in general. What do I have to do to ask about someones location? I already tried "Ask for directions <new menu>".

Depends if it is a lord of a site or a king/Queen of an entire CIV. If it is a lord of just a site then you can find them at the mead halls/keeps. But if it a king/Queen you are after then you will have to find the capital town and they should be at the keep along with the towns leader.

At this point you need to provide a screenshot or something that gives us an example of what you want to change. Values and personality are changed on the same screen in the same way.
