Being unrelated to this place is no excuse to just do nothing. The USA is supposed to be a modern country goddamnit, we shouldn't let this kind of human rights violation happen. We need to go over the school's head somehow, get the media or a humanitarian group involved.

The media has already gotten involved, it has just not gotten the public's attention. We need a lobby group to protest this.

Also I am pretty sure the Parents know more or less what is going on.

Sadly, you're probably right. They're just exasperated and don't give a shit anymore. Probably feel that this is their last resort or something.

One of my favorite things to do to some of my least favorite people is to sick 4chan on them, by providing websites and contact info to a thread there. Not really an effective solution to the problem, but they do mobilize, and come up with creative ways to approach things (say, mailing hundreds of 4-cent copies of the Quran to the home address of outspoken, racist Christian fundamentalists).

Does anyone know what organizations handle human rights violations, questionable "education" practices, and so on? All I can think of is the Better Business Bureau, but I don't know how to get in contact with them.

Why monitor and censor the letters and phone calls if they know?

4: ???
5: Profit

To prevent them from organizing a breakout. Or from letting people other than the parents know. You'd think that if the parents didn't know there would be a flood of lawsuits after children were released.

The ones who know don't care, they are nutjobs who think this actually works.

Going by the letter to parents that heads their website, they're catering to exasperated parents, and trying to provide an easy solution to people unwilling or unable to deal with their children.

It's damned insidious.

And that makes me think that the parents don't all know the full truth of the matter, and would do somthing if they did.

That could work. They've been very effective before. Though I believe that Project Chanology is an ongoing campaign.

Wow, yeah. That is fucking sick.

Be careful, no matter how deserving, you're getting awfully close to planning crimes on here.

After the first few sick fires most people quit except for new anons. Knowyourmeme has some insight on it. All I have to do is post and nudge in that direction. By the time it's in motion that thread will have 404'd a loooong time ago.

Not all of them would do something. A bunch of these people probably hold strictly extremist views on this sort of thing.
