as I edited before: I think the solution would be education reforms that prevent this from happening as well as creating an outline on how "Tough Love" reform can be done with minimum chance of psychological harm as well as avoiding inhumane treatment.

No, the amount of money made by them would stay the same, or even grow, these are illegal, and must be shut down. No question about it.

This makes me wonder why the local police don't investigate. Do they not know, or are the in on it? If the former, one of us should place an anonymous tip or somthing. If the latter, what the hell is wrong with these people!?

I'm pretty sure I saw a documentary on this once. Like, years ago. On Finnish national television, on the other side of the Atlantic from where this is happening. And it kind of makes me wonder, because I really don't think that this should be legal, and it's apparently pretty well known, so you'd kind of expect someone to do something about it. Or have done something about it like ten years ago. Are they bribing the law enforcement officials, do the law enforcement officials not care, or is there some ridiculous loophole that actually ALLOWS them to keep this place running?

As for people defending a brainwashing camp for children... I, for one, think that's pretty much one of the worst facilities you can have, right up there with internment camps for political dissidents. Normal prisons, the kind that hold serial rapists and murderers, aren't permitted to emotionally torture inmates to the extent that is allegedly done in this "school". Human rights are supposed to apply to everyone. If you find it necessary to suspend them to deal with juvenile delinquents, you are doing something wrong.

Interestingly enough even though they stopped doing frontal lobotomies. There are still somewhat illegal ways to "Fix" disobedient wives that is done.

As a whole, yeah most likely. But there are probably specific legal violations.

Yes, but those are illegal. And it wasn't just the moody teens and disobedient wives, at one point it was the standard treatment for mental illness, and it wasn't just for the rich, either.
