Ha! Hardly. The chances of them being able to take anything resembling legal action are exactly zero. In some states they could QQ about taping, but Maine is a one-party consent state for recording conversations. BTW, assume you're not the first person to do something like this (because you aren't, by far) and don't assume no one else is doing it either. In fact they might be getting so many calls if this Reddit thing's blown up enough, that almost *all* of the calls they're getting are fake or harassing. If you're paranoid, call from a pay phone and proxy your upload.

Again, I can't stress this enough: The odds are very low that you'll get the person on the other end to say anything incriminating unless you get very lucky.

Excellent! I'd suggest prepating some answers if they ask you questions, stuff like "What does your teen do?" or "What's your annual income?" (remember, they charge 50,000$ a year per child, and seem to target 14-16 year olds). Recording it might help as well, especially in getting the media's attention.

I've been in two classes for deaf students and forced to shepherd a number of autistic/retarded kids.  I'm pretty sure I can think up some noxious behaviors.
