Piratical dwarves
« on: September 30, 2006, 11:11:00 pm »

The first dwarven caravan has arrived at my fort, and the first thing my dwarves did was raid it for their food supplies.  They just ran up to the caravan as it was making its way to my trading outpost, took the food, and began eating it!  I checked their inventory and they seem to have all their clothes so I do not suspect they traded anything for it...

I won't contest that my food stores were rather...empty, but the merchants should at least be slightly irritated by this if not angered.

As for the contents of the caravan...A plump helmet was taken and some different kind of meats (I think only 4 or 5 items total were taken), but when they set up their shop there was only 5 leopard meat.  Doesn't food come in stacks of 5?  Where did the other 4 plump helmets go?

Well, I believe they get angry depending on the value of what they arrive with compared to the value of which thye leave with.

So yes, they'll be a bit miffed when they get back home.
