With a sigh, Desmond watches them deconstruct the barricade. "You know, kid, I admit you got guts, but I dont fancy your chances of coming back, you going alone and unarmed. I hope you can prove me wrong."

"Wasnt somebody yelling for help earlier around here? Lets go save their young nubile and probably flexible lives. Who is with me?"
Get Hopped up on caffinated brevrages. Gather folks, go save the hospital people, Yell "Wolverines!"
If the survivors are inconveniently far away I will sleep near the kitchen instead. Otherwise We save them and then i go to sleep.

Day 2: sleep in kitchen, somewhere safe or behind a locked door maybe?
Night 2: I donno yet

EDIT: yeah thats what i should do, I guard cafeteria at night.

Hastur, if all else fails, guard the cafeteria at night. We need at least ONE person.

[b[Night 2: Guard the Cafeteria.

Acknowledged.

I volunteer to help Jimi with breaking down the barricade before I attract survivors!

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

I would like to find a zombie corpse, dissect it, and carve a femur into a crude club, and remove the head for later study.
I get the receptionists gum, chew it, and put it on the haft to improve grip.
I stand guard in the lobby, holed up in the receptionists desk,  vigilant for any activity.

I put you down for the same group as Lozz and Desmond for the killing group. (Action, Day)
Acknowledged your sleeping (Action, Night) I'm assuming you want to sleep in the Cafeteria with everyone else.

Still need a night action from you. :)

oh ok...

At night I will do my former day action, and during the day barricade all entrances to the lobby.

Jimi only looks Desmond straight in the eye and does a big thumbs up with a cheesy smile. :D

It's been a day, and it would seem that everyone has suggested a move, for those of you who didn't bold your move specifically, I interpreted your latest posts:

Here's a highlight of the compiled moves that will happen next turn:

Submitted Moves for Turn 2

Ahem, last chance to edit any details. Please note that your character actions will adhere closely to your RP actions: if you posted that you will say or do something, your character will do precisely that. For example, Hastur will actually pick up the gold earring, and remove the earlobe still attached to it.

Turn 2 will be posted in a few hours.

I'd like to make a change. rather than chew the gum at first, I wash it completely clean, then chew it.

Looks good to me.

Desmond, restless before moving on with Lozz says

"I feel we should barricade the doors to the hospital permanently soon enough-and throw down a climbing rope somewhere from a window on the 2nd floor away from the main entrance, with instructions around the hospital to it. We'll need a rope-made from bedsheets?-and  spray cans to make the signs...Humans can climb, zombies can't. At least I hope they can't...

EDIT:
I'd like to make a change. rather than chew the gum at first, I wash it completely clean, then chew it.

Really dude? Is it really worth the risk >_>

Turn 2a: When Excessive Dice Rolling Occurs
Holy text-dump Batman! How do I make sense of this turn? You only need to read your character's report and the non-spoilered content in the next post. However, for those who are...

Metagamers: You should snoop through other player files and put two and two together.
Super-dwarvenly: Read only your own file but question other players for information. Bonus: Stay in character.

Your Character Report:
Name (# of Points) Final Location

Update: If you find civilians together, you all get points. Since you're working cooperatively (good thing), I don't mind handing out points in "duplicate".

Turn 2b: Team Report and Preparing for "Fun"

If you are worried about combat, feel free to ask me questions. Bottom line: your play style determines how much combat (actual rolls) you will see. There are ways to avoid alerting zombies, distracting entire hordes, and even tricking them outright. Combat is only unavoidable when you want to clear rooms or if you inundate yourselves with Zeds via FEATS OF PURE DARING.

The Team Report:

All "grouped" activities are listed here.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Midnight:

It begins in the same way as the night before, with a faint whirring in the distance. As the sound grows in intensity, it becomes clear that the second of ten helicopters was arriving.  As the whirring of the spinning rotor reaches a crescendo, a bright spotlight dances down, scanning the terrain below. The sound of the spinning blades grows louder yet, but seems to slow. Then just as quickly, the whirring rapidly accelerates, leaving the night air in silence. There are 8 more helicopters remaining.

Turn 2 begins as the sun rises...

From your vantage point on the 2nd Floor Cafeteria, you can see that nothing is approaching from the immediate west (supermarket). From your vantage point in the Lobby, you can see that nothing is approaching from the immediate west (supermarket). From your vantage point in the Lobby, you can see that 8 zombies are approaching from the immediate east (city park). Based on their current speed and distance, you estimate that they will reach the hospital sometime during the Day of the next turn. You do not have a view of the northern approach. You do not have a view of the southern approach. You suspect that you could see farther from the hospital, if you were on a higher floor with a window facing the appropriate direction.

The helipad lights are on. You suspect that the helipad lights are somewhat effective at attracting civilians each turn. You suspect that the helipad lights are somewhat effective at attracting zombies each turn.

You have not evacuated any civilians so far. Civilians are instructed to rendezvous at the 2nd Floor: Cafeteria.

Team Score: 0

Submitting your move for Turn 3

-As a group, tell me where you would like to direct new civilians.
-Tell me your combat behavior: details are good. Tell me where you'd like to retreat to.
-Tell me if you'd like to interact or use any objects currently discovered. Interactions are FREE Actions.
-Tell me any FREE Actions that you'd like to perform: you may perform as many as you'd like.
-Note: There are a range of FREE Actions opportunities available. To limit my influence on player actions, I will not post a list of them here. You may learn about these opportunities by re-reading old turns.
-You can spend 1 Action Point to sleep: Tell me which floor you're sleeping on.
-You can spend 1 Action Point to stand guard: Tell me which floor or zone.
-You can spend 1 Action Point to attract attention: Tell me which floor or zone.
-You can spend 1 Action Point to carefully search any of these locations:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
-You can spend 1 Action Point to scout out 3 of these areas if the areas are adjacent or on consecutive floors:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
-These are suggested moves. Logic and Imagination are your friends. If you'd like to do something outside of the box, post away and I'll let you know if it's applicable and if it'll cost you AP.

Civilian Orders
-If found/convinced they will be escorted to 2nd Floor Cafeteria.
-Civilians count towards the 2:1 auto-kill ratio.
-Poll: Should Civilians receive combat rolls? If they do, they will be treated as BAREHANDED and have the potential to suffer INJURY as per player rules.
-Further details about civilian behavior will be learned once you have encountered them.

Achievements

Hope you've all enjoyed Turn 2!
