Well, I honestly need to sleep. I'm curious what the air vents get me though.

Day 4: sleep in the cafeteria

Night 4: Take flashlight, start investigating the supermarket.

Same as before, if one zombie, engage, if more than one, flee to nearest occupied zone.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

Just updated your character's individual report. At least one Vent is fairly interesting. Anyone AVERAGE or THIN may exit/travel through the vents as a FREE action. If you (or anyone else) wish to talk to the man, just post your conversation here and I'll provide the man's answers.

You and phantom may wish to sync up your supermarket exploration.

Turn 3 Posted :)

The man seems surprised to hear you, he jumps out of his chair and stands up, waving the gun around the room. Standing up, he's close enough to vent for you to notice the top of his sweaty, balding head.

You may continue the conversation, crawl back through the vents, or shoot him in the head.

It doesn't seem like he knows you are real, or that you're in the vent. The man appears very on edge and distraught.

OOC: Nice! You figured out he has a gun. I wanted to make it evident. By the way, your options at any given point in the conversation is to "TALK", "LEAVE (this will be considered as breaking out of the conversation, and may have negative effects)" or "SHOOT".

Our conversation in Italics will be included as part of the next Turn Report

Before Day action: Guard the lobby, greet the new civilians and fight the dead.
Free action: Talk with the civs, tell themeverything is ok and they can get on a chopper out of here very soon.
Day action: Scout floors 6, 7 and 8. If I meet any Zed's I retreat. Unless someone decided to come with me, otherwise I fight if we outnumber them or have a good chance of outnumbering them due to combat.
Free Action: Escort the not-able civ's to the helipad.
Night Action: Sleep in the Cafeteria

Edit'd with new night action.

Night Action: Escort the not-able civ's to the helipad.

I'll let you (& Ottofar, by extension) do this for free. Would you like to choose a new move for this night phase?

Modified my post after learning some information.

Free Actions are approved. Day phase looks good too. Your device sounds complex but functional: will you be using the hospital machines (and by extension, the hospital outlets) for powering up your device? Also, please check my PM. Thanks :)

CIVILIANS & SCORING

I realized you guys don't have a gauge for the team score. You get 20 points for safely evacuating a civilian. And you can lose 10 points for each civilian that you FIND who dies. You may be wondering, "Just how many civilians are there?"

Well, here are the number of civilians I wrote into the game (this is the maximum you can find; please note that playing strategically and finding the most civilians are not necessarily convergent ideas.)

Civilians Evacuated: 6 out of a possible 188
Possible Range for Your Team Score: -1880 Points to +3760 Points

** The extremes are generally impossible. Also, personal scores are independent from this; just a fun running tab to see who's done what.

Arcadia:
How good would Lozz be at avoiding the dead, due to her parkour skill?

The man seems relieved that you're not a figment of his imagination. After recovering from his momentary surprise however, he quickly returns to his previous demeanor: incoherent and edgy. From his fierce blabbering, you gather that he's angry. Angry about losing his wife, angry about losing his friends, angry at himself for surviving, angry at the world.  As he talks, he gestures wildly with the weapon, alternately pointing it at himself or at the room. The hammer on the gun is pulled back. As his monologue continues, you feel that he is becoming more detached to the situation. Whether it's talk or action, it is time to be decisive. If you still wish to persuade him, you may choose to emphasize your own authority as a police officer, or downplay your occupation before the outbreak.

You must make a roll (4~6 will result in a successful persuade). I believe there are enough clues throughout the turns to guess at his location and possible identity: know who he might be? Emphasizing authority will either give a +1 or -1 to your roll. (You can of course just crawl away and leave him to his babbling, or shoot to kill).

@Kashyyk. Currently, I've set it so that if you are retreating/moving into a zombie-infested zone, you have a 50% chance to avoid the mandatory combat roll (before moving to the next zone). However, you can't kite them around "all day" like Jimi, since parkour is much more physically demanding.

What did you have in mind? Let me know and we'll see if we can make it work.

Well, I had the idea that she could scout out the local area, see if she can find anymore civ's, that sort of thing. She won't be trying to kite the Zed's just avoid them in her search.

Yeah, you can go for that.

You're not actually searching the locations, and it'll give me the perfect excuse to tell the players exactly how many civilians are coming in the following turn and from which directions.

Want me to add it to your list of Free Actions? :P

Sure.

Although if I actually spent AP to scout an area, would I still be able to use the parkour for a bonus?
