alphabetical lists and other options
« on: November 25, 2010, 11:19:58 am »

the time it takes me to setup a full squad is 20 times longer than it needs to be, the candidates list should be in alphabetical order, please!

this goes double for the 'u'nits dialog, please set tab to toggle between sort by profession / alpha, and maybe some options for no|only animals, no|only deceased, etc etc.

thanks for this great game btw  :)

This combined with a filtering option + a "select all" option for burrow lists and related stuff would make our life considerably easier.

Maybe they aren't fun to implement, but they would make extended play testing more enjoyable for the remainder of the project.  Not just for us, but for Toady himself.  It boggles my mind that he pays so little attention to basic usability.
