Oh fine! With normal Admirals you can hide up to 2 ships and with skilled you can hide 3. Happy?

Also. I have been playing around with Chaotic Shiny when I found a empire much like the Hectic Knights:

Wow, that is similar. It even got the ocean on one side. not sure about religion being blasphemous or it being weak, but generally, that's it.

I presume it's still cool to join, sayin' as it's in the title and all, ergo...

Name: The Grey Fraternity.
County: Varkian.
Map Colour: Grey, of course.
Backstory: Commanded with an iron fist by the inscrutable and enigmatic Lord Grey, The Grey Fraternity are a male-exclusive group of veteran assassins and cut-throats. Having quite utterly eradicated the myriad noblemen and women that littered the Varkian countryside few scant months ago - often at the behest and financial support of those very same lords and ladies - the Grey Fraternity emerged from the bloody coup as the only powerful faction remaining in Varkian. As such, it has taken a position akin to that of a ruling family - adopting in new members of worth and merit as is necessary. The rule of Lord Grey is one that brookes no malcontent, the Fraternity also acting as a secret police and a state army when required. As a relative newcomer to the front, none can be sure how the Fraternity will conduct itself on an international scale, although it is doubtful one need worry his imagination in considering the policies of a clan of highly ambitious hired killers...

I, of course, wish my first agent to be a spy.

I'm also going to have to be rather presumptious and send you my actions now as I don't have any time left on this computer. My apologies.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to give my spy a name. Hmm... you may call him Mr. Teatime, I suppose. Now remember, it's pronounced 'Tea-ah-time-eh'.

Just leave on ship behind every once and a while (I don't remember the exact distance, you should really keep all the rules in one place). That way, your whole navy count as one blockading chain and all your ships are fighting at once, even if they're one oceans away from each other.

Its 1 cm. And, if you haven't read the rules, ships in a blockade chain count as one fleet. And besides, that is extremely impratical, it would take up thosands of gold and ships. Some of the ships may be lost to warfare, too, so thats a few thosand MORE gold down the drain. And when its finished, a ship destoryed in a blockading battle will be destoryed, meaning that it'll leave a very visable hole in your defences. Thats the reason to have more then one ship in a single "Blockade node" (as I like to call them). I don't NEED to make a rule for it because its so impratical and stupid that it would hardly work, if not at all. Theres at least a million gold in that project, and if you haven't noticed, no one really has that money.

yup; but by keeping a chain of ships connecting your fleet, you basically have one ûber-fleet that reach across half-of-the map; it wouldn't be so expensive either, given the size of the map (which is what, 60 cm across?) I guess you can have one invincible fleet blockading everything for 10,000 gold.

Hmm. I cannot help but notice you're republic is based... interestingly close to my own little civilization. I trust that we shall become the fondest of neighbours and shall not resort to hurriedly decimating one another to the advantage of our enemies?
