I don't have a screenshot since I don't play WoW myself, but my brother informed me that in the new version, there's also a dwarf NPC called "Haggis Boatmurder".

There is no way this can be coincidence.

Haggis Boatmurder actually has a whole DF refrence quest.  A quest called "Dwarf Fortress" has you kill him to obtain schematics for Bael Dun.  The description of the schematics is something along the lines of "A map of the fortress using simple symbols to identify complex structures".

Unfortunately I only heard this second hand.  My lv 50 hunter found and killed him while exploring southern barrens but since I didn't have the quest(and donno where to get it) I didn't get the schematic.    Haggis is in Bael Dun Fortress where that fire elemental ambassador used to be pre cata.

this is true, well it used to be ingame idk if its still there or not
