Did you boost the embark points for the world?  It might make monument building easier.

How many days do we get again, like three?
And is higher fps levels, [NO_EAT],[NO_DRINK] and [Speed:1] allow if i change it back after my turn? Or is that like cheating or just generally frowned upon?

I'd consider it sort of cheating, but if you want to I'll let it slide.
And the number of days is in the first post.
Which is to say I don't remember.

IMO, this is all about making a sweet world, so do as much "cheating" as you need to, as long as it is in the service of an awesome adventure mode.
