I'm having some pretty good FPS for this version.  But I have noticed that trying to generate worlds, reading legends or general not-in-game stuff, I do crash often.  Mostly because I'm trying to force the world to create an unnatural pattern of land...  like my many many massive volcanoes.  I blame myself for the crashes, in those cases.

I'm guessing that there's upheavals in HFS?(Just a guess; maybe rebellions and such?)

I have yet to play 3.18 as i'm not finished with a fortress i have running in 3.16.
But for those having many bugs :
-is it a world generated in 3.18 ?
i remember many people having problem in the past when they were playing with a save from a previous version of DF in a more recent DF version.

-are the mods/tilesets/graphics you are using perfectly up to date with 3.18 ?
I remember in the past some graphic mods were updating the tileset file, but were using RAW from previous version, forgetting to update them. This could lead into big problems and crash when a recent DF is looking for something that does not exist because the RAW are not up to date.

this release has no significant bugs which I've found. it lags a bit, but not enough for me to complain.
