That's right. Whether it's stagnant water or salt water, you cannot drink the actual water... but you can drink the water covering off of your body-- it's fine.

Yeah, I think i've marked down somewhere that contaminants don't carry over any contaminants themselves, so you couldn't be covered with bloody water for example.  They don't have temperatures either.
