Ok, so I've seen messages posted about this before,
(But never paid attention, as it wasn't happening to me ::bashful-face:
Basically my fortress, was going along swell,
Nice squad of of legendary warriors,
79 dwarves
I had just set up my forges/magma smelters,
I was about to get started on producing furniture for my bedrooms (according to dfprospecter, gold is the third most common mineral on this site, there are over 55,000 units of gold nuggets!)
I had just used DwarfTherapist to enable about 6 more guys with the Furnace Use labor, so I could get the melting down happening.
when it started.
I have not breached the HFS, or done anything that would cause lag, (its not the usual drop in frame rate, that you normally get), anyway.
Basically the game works smooth for about 1-5 seconds,
then freezes up for 1-5 seconds, (not responding to keyboard, if i click the window, it changes to (Not Responding) and goes grey)
The first time it happened I Ctrl+Alt+Deleted and reloaded from my seasonal save,
but then it happened again. (The notes above about what I am doing are from the second time, but as far as i remember i did pretty similar the first).
This has happened before in this World.
but last time was on a reclaim, and reclaims have more bugs than most parts of DF, so i thought little of it, and just abandoned. (The reclaim also had HUGE amounts of stuff everywhere, it was a big fortress that fell, so its framerate was expected to be abit low)
I have the save, but it's on my other computer.
I'll upload it tomorrow, if anyone wants to check it out
----
Version 31.18
using Maydays dfg version. (with his tileset preinstalled)
Heavy use of DT,
used dfHack's dvdig.exe for the first time on this map. (didn't use it the first time the bug occurred, on my reclaim map)
No modifications, other than some custom profiles, minor changes to announcements.txt,
and init to turn on seasonal autosave.
(I haven't even turned on the usual fps optimising stuff, like temp and the graphics framerate)
